The Site is intended for a general audience and not directed to minors under 18. We also do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

What data we collect

We do not collect personal data unless you voluntarily provide it or it is collected automatically by the platform for basic operation and security.

Data you provide

  • Comments (if enabled): name and email (if you choose to submit them), comment content. Spam protection: comments may be protected by Google reCAPTCHA and are subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

  • Contact (email or forms): your email address and the content of your message.

  • Uploads: if you upload images, avoid EXIF/GPS data; visitors could download and extract location data.

Data collected automatically

  • Log data & device info: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, referring URLs, date/time of access, and pages viewed (standard web server logs used for security, abuse prevention and essential analytics provided by Blogger).

  • Cookies & similar technologies: see “Cookies” and our Cookie Policy.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of data (e.g., health, religious beliefs, sexual orientation). Please do not include such data in comments or messages.

Purposes & legal bases

We process data to:

  • operate and secure the Site, prevent fraud and abuse (legitimate interests);

  • respond to comments and inquiries you send us (consent / legitimate interests);

  • comply with legal obligations (e.g., responding to lawful requests).

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How we use personal information

  • To display and moderate comments;

  • To reply to your questions;

  • To improve content quality and diagnose technical issues;

  • To maintain security (e.g., abuse and spam detection).

Emails may be sent only in direct response to your message or for technical notifications. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly subscribe to them (not enabled by default).

Cookies

The Site (via Blogger/Google) may set cookies necessary for basic functionality, security, spam detection, and performance. Third-party embedded content (e.g., YouTube videos, social embeds, Amazon book pages) may also set cookies.
For details and controls, please see our Cookie Policy (link from the footer once published).

Embedded content & external links

Pages on https://www.magic-praxis.site/ may include embedded content (videos, images, articles) and links to external websites. Such websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and monitor your interaction with that content per their own policies. We recommend reviewing their privacy terms. Examples include services from Google (YouTube, Blogger) and Amazon (book pages).

Service providers (processors)

We may use trusted providers to host and operate the Site or to help deliver features:

  • Google LLC (Blogger/Blogspot and related Google services) – hosting and platform, security (including spam detection), essential stats.

Other providers may be added in the future (and will be listed here if relevant). We disclose personal data only when necessary, under contract, and in compliance with the law (e.g., to comply with a court order or prevent abuse).

International transfers

If you visit from the EEA/UK, your data may be processed outside your jurisdiction (e.g., by Google’s global infrastructure). We rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission or equivalent mechanisms used by our processors.

Retention

  • Comments: kept indefinitely so that follow-up discussions remain readable, unless you ask us to remove them or we delete them for moderation reasons.

  • Contact messages: normally kept up to 24 months after we resolve your request, then deleted.

  • Server logs: typically retained for up to 12 months for security and diagnostics, unless needed longer for investigations.

  • Backups: system backups created by our hosting/platform may be retained for disaster recovery for up to 30 days and are automatically purged on a rolling basis.

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out above or as required by law.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA/UK (GDPR)

You can request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent at any time when processing is based on consent.

If you are a California resident (CPRA)

You have the right to know the categories of personal information collected, access and delete your information, correct inaccurate information, opt-out of sale/share (we do not sell/share), limit the use of sensitive personal information (not collected), and be free from discrimination for exercising your rights.

How to exercise your rights: email darkshadow9933@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and tell us which rights you wish to exercise.
Verification: to protect your data, we may ask you to verify your identity (e.g., by replying from the email address associated with your request). We will respond within one month, or within 45 days for California residents, unless an extension is permitted by law.
Supervisory authority: if you believe your rights are infringed, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

California Notice at Collection: We collect the following categories of personal information: Identifiers (e.g., IP address, email if submitted), Internet or network activity (basic log data), and User content (comments). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information (HTTPS encryption, strong access controls, regular reviews). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to protect your data.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no industry consensus, the Site does not respond to DNT signals. You can manage cookies via your browser settings and our Cookie Policy.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. Translations: this Policy may be provided in multiple languages; in case of inconsistencies, the English version controls.
